Hinsdale Hosts First Annual Wine Walk

October in Chicago is a personal favorite month for me for several reasons.
It is the month when the hot sticky summer begins to cool off and the days become cooler, crisper, and mostly sunny.
It is also the month when I hope that the Chicago Cubs are in the midst of the baseball playoffs and on their way to a World Series title.
It is one of the best months to take out my camera and head outside to photograph the amazing colors that dot the lakefront, Millennium Park. The Forest Preserves surrounding the city put on quite the color show making the walking paths ideal to shoot the color displays.
AND…..for the first time ever the Village of Hinsdale in partnership with the Hinsdale Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring Hinsdale’s First Annual Wine Walk.
The Wine Walk will kick off at the Hinsdale Wine Shop at 4:30 PM on Thursday, October 17th. This walk is such a tremendous opportunity to get outside with friends, enjoy some great shopping opportunities, sip many varieties of wine. Not only will the walk be a fun time but it is also going to support the Wellness House, Hinsdale’s cancer support center.
As the banners around town state, “Live Well, Shop Well, Eat Well in Hinsdale.”
