Causes We Love: Mulliganeers Host Cog Hill Golf Benefit

Mulligan: an extra stroke allowed after a poor shot, not counted on the scorecard. That’s exactly what the Mulliganeers are all about: giving kids a second shot. In 1995 a group of friends came together with the idea that together, they could help give children and families with financial strains due to illness, injury, or disability, a second chance. The organization and its generous supporters have donated more than $5 million dollars over the years. Their 23rd annual golf outing is being held on September 15th at Cog Hill in Lemont. Registrations for Shotgun and scramble are available through September 1st. Not a golfer? Join for the Pig Roast dinner to follow at 6 p.m. (Make sure to check out The Cathy Walsh Group’s proud sponsorship!)

Mulliganeers

If you can’t make out to Cog Hill on the 15th, the Mulliganeers also host a St Patrick’s Day party (March), White Sox outing, and a Frosty Walk. Any donations – time or monetary – are always appreciated! We hope to see you on the green!

CW Group Tip: Looking to practice your swing before the outing? We recommend White Pines Golf Dome in Bensenville. Measuring 300-feet wide, 300-feet long and 100-feet high, it is, “Chicagoland’s best and largest golf dome.”  500 West Jefferson Ave., Bensenville, IL 60106.
