Westchester

The Village of Westchester was conceived in 1924, and plans were implemented to model this new western suburb of Chicago after an English-styled town. Today many of the streets still retain English names. Located about 14 miles west of Chicago, Westchester is close to I-294 and I-290, making it easily accessible to all that Chicago has to offer by car. Westchester is also home to The Wolf Road Prairie, the largest prairie east of the Mississippi River
