The Village of Forest Park is more than 100 years old and is a “Main-street” community. The Village has a rich history, which includes original cobblestone streets. Dining and entertainment along the main strip is some of the best in the Western Suburbs and the village offers many historical and educational experiences. Forest park also offers wonderful public and private school options for families. The Village has an Aquatic Center which boasts two large water slides, a volleyball court, and a child safe water sport area. Additionally, the Park District has been the site for the Midwest’s annual “No Gloves Nationals” for many years because of the wonderfully maintained fields for play.
